The Tooker Family Adventures: Cali for 3

In the beginning of September the kids and I headed to Cali for the weekend. Robert had to work all weekend, because it was Labor Day weekend, so he couldn't go with us. We wish he would have been able to go, but that darn four letter word called "work" always gets in the way.

We headed to Cali and made our first stop in Barstow to have dinner at In-n-Out, and of course it was super yummy. Next stop was Nana and Papa's, we went to stay the weekend with them. My cousin Coty was having her baby shower on September 1 so that was the reason we went down there. We got Friday night about 11:30, and of course Brayden was wide awake after we got there. So we visited with Nana and Papa for a while, then Kelli went to bed. I was ready for bed but stayed awake a little longer visiting and trying to wear Brayden down.

Saturday we got up and went and say outside on the porch enjoying the amazing morning and weather. Then Nana and Papa made waffles, fruit and bacon for breakfast...yummy. Then we got cleaned up and headed to my Aunt's for Coty's baby shower. It was so nice to see a lot of my family that we don't get to see very often. We had a great afternoon of visiting.

Saturday evening was spent just relaxing and eating a wonderful dinner. Sunday we had to leave to come back to Arizona, but not until we had a little fun. We got up and again went outside and enjoyed the morning, then we came in and had some eggs, sausage, bagels and fruit for breakfast. After that we all got cleaned up and then headed to the park to feed the ducks and play a bit.

When we got to the park we went walking down the hill to feed the ducks, as soon as Brayden saw the ducks he took off in a full run towards them. We spent some time at the pond feeding the ducks and Brayden loved that, then we went to the playground to let him play. He had a great time. After the park we went back to Nana and Papa's for some lunch before we headed home.
