Summer Trip 2012

In August we took our family trip to Cali and did a few fun adventures.  To start things we took the kids to Knott's Berry Farm.  Robert and I have not been there for years...so it was like a new adventure for all of us.  Brayden was a little too small to go on a lot of the rides..but he had a blast going on the ones that he could.  Whenever he got on the rides he would keep saying wee..wee.  It was so much fun to see all the joy on his face.  He was a lucky little boy, because he has a wonderful sissy who went on all the rides with him.  He loves her so much and they both had a lot of fun.  We had a great lunch at Johnny Rockets and then ended the day with some wonderful funnel cake.

Then on Saturday we decided that we were going to ride the train from Gramme and Papa Tom's to Oceanside.  This train is called the Sprinter.  At first I don't think Brayden was too sure of it...but he very quickly decided that he liked it a lot.  Once we got off the train in Oceanside we walked down to the the ocean and then to the Harbor for dinner.  Kelli was walking Brayden out to the ocean and then running back before the water got them...Brayden thought that was pretty funny. It was really cute.  We ate dinner at Rockin Baja...we really like it there.

On Sunday we took the kids to a San Diego Padres game.  They were playing the New York Mets...we of course were cheering on the Padres'...cause if they beat the Mets then that would help the Braves...while Kelli was cheering on the Mets...it was a lot of fun.  We sat in the all you can eat seats...they were pretty cool.  They served soda, water, hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn...it was really cool.  It was our first time to Petco Park to see a game, and it was Brayden's first baseball game.  He did really good for the most part watching the game.  It was cute he would kept saying ball and bat.  I can't wait until we can take him to another game.

We also got to take Brayden to the park and Gramme and Papa Tom's house...he really loved that.  We had a wonderful vacation spending all of our time together as a family.  We can't wait to do it again.
