The Tooker Family Adventures: Brayden's First Year

Wow...we had a great summer. Now Fall is here and it is starting to cool off. Of course we have some more firsts:)

To start things off Brayden got his first hair cut, he was such a good boy and did an awesome job. It was kind of sad cutting off his curls, but don't worry

I saved them. He really needed a hair cut his hair was every where!

Well in October we took little man to Disneyland for the first time. He had a really good time. He really loved all the lights at night. He even got to ride on some rides and really seemed to like all that was going on during them. He got to go on The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Snow White...and a few others. We had a lot of fun just watching him take in everything. We cannot wait to take him back again. I am sure it will be one of his favorite places to go just like it all of ours.

Next came Halloween...this little guy got his very own pumpkin out of his Nannies garden. So his Papa Ron brought it all the way from California for him to carve. This little guy was totally into the carving of that pumpkin. Daddy and Papa both help him with the cutting and the cleaning, but Brayden really liked digging in the pumpkin and digging out all of its gooiness. Brayden even ejoyed eating the insides.

Since this was his first Halloween we didn't take him out Tick-o-Treating, but we did dress him up. His Gramme and Papa Tom bought him a the cutest little monkey costume. Kelli was with her mom for Halloween, but she did come over so we could get some pictures of our two loves in their costumes.

Next stop of Fall is Thanksgiving...we have an awesome time at Thanksgiving full of a lot of events. It starts with having Thanksgiving at my dad and Cin's house on Thanksgiving Day...which is always a lot of fun! Then we head down to Meadview on Friday. Friday usually consists of going on a quad ride, then coming back and starting up the bonfire. We all sit out and enjoy the bonfire, making s'mores and hanging out. Once the bonfire is ready we dig the coals up and put our turkey in there to cook for the night. Saturday we dig up the turkey and get the rest of the goodness ready and have a nice Thanksgiving dinner, after dinner there usually is more quad riding. Always a fun time with all the family.

Now comes our favorite time of the year Christmas. We had a really good Christmas...we love spending time with all of our family. Brayden did really good opening his presents, of course needed help, but was really engaged in the process...so it was a lot of fun.
